Detestable Excess Baggage
God created us in His exact likeness; not only in physical features but also in character. If we maintain obedience to Him, then He can mould us to be like Him. Unfortunately at the Garden of Eden, man was deceived that we could be like God. Since then, we have been pursuing this desire to be like God, living our earthly lives apart from Him. During this time, pride birth in us.
What is pride? Pride is the undue confidence in and attention to one's own skills, accomplishments, state, possessions, or position. It is the opposite of humility, the proper attitude one should possess in relation to God. Pride is rebellion against God because it attributes to oneself the honor and glory due to God alone.
Pride has develop into not only excess baggage to us, but a disgusted asset in our character detest by God. The pride in us has caused God to grow enmity towards us. Unless we shed pride from our character, it's impossible for us to find favor in God's presence.
To discard pride from our character is to acknowledge our weakness to God and confess our total dependence on Him by trusting our lives to Him alone who loves us and gave His life for us at the cross.
Not until we execute that decision to surrender pride, you and I will always be lugging that excess baggage detest by God because pride was never a part of God's true being. And God hated the pride in us.
When we surrender pride and acknowledged our weakness to God, then our journey back into God's heart will be painless, trouble free and effortless; for Jesus Christ our Saviour will be there to carry us home to the heart of our heavenly Father.
To revere God is to hate evil, pride, conceit and deceitful lies. Proverbs 8:13

Cornerstone Displace
When Jesus is not in control then everything will be out of control.
The reason most of our lives are messed up could be because we have not place Jesus in control. Honestly, when Jesus is not in place, then everything is out of place. That’s exactly what I discovered about my messed up life.
My life was at a dead end. My credit cards debt balloon by every second. My business fell out of favor with everyone. My family was falling apart. In fact everything was falling apart. Not even the most powerful glue can weld my fragmented life together. I was on the verge of suicide.
That’s when I discover that I am not Jesus-centered. I was money-centered. I was worldly-centered. That was the reason for all my disappointments and failures. My earthly life was revolving around money instead of Jesus who alone loves me and gave his life for me at the cross.
Each day together with my Saviour helping me, I struggle through to restore my Jesus back at the center of my life. There were days I slipped, but my Saviour Jesus was always there to support me, never abandoning me to guide me back to Himself. My Saviour Jesus patiently helps me slowly to re-establish and reinstate Him into my life.
Honestly, the task to have my Saviour Jesus build his home in my heart was never easy if He had not lent a hand. Jesus was ever ready and is always joyful to have his home in my heart so long I am enthusiastic. My Jesus helps me to draw strength and faith from Him to restore Him to my displace and disorder life.
With my Jesus dwelling in my heart, the Holy Spirit helps me to slowly empty my earth life of the things that is of this world. My life is now crucified with Christ. I no longer live, but my Saviour Jesus now live by His Spirit in my earthly life to help me to live by trusting in him alone who loves me and gave his life for me at the cross. Galatians 2:20
With my Saviour Jesus in control and in place, my life also was under control and well discipline. Through it all I learned obedience.
You must not have any other gods but Me. Exodus 20:3
Thank you Lord Jesus who alone loves me and gave his life for me at the cross.

That's All I Ask- Honestly!
A close friend pops me a question just 15 minutes ago.
“If God were to grant you a wish for anything in this whole wide world, what would you have asked?”
“Honestly and right out from the deepest and most truthful part of my heart- I want God to bless me with an obedient heart; a heart that will listen to His every instruction.”

Loveless When Godless
A life that is loveless is godless.
But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love. God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God live in them. 1 John 4:8, 16
Love is slowly diminishing in the world we live in. People are getting more selfish and self centered. No one truly understands the true meaning of love unless God who alone is love lives in them. And I know almost everyone will profess and claim they do understand the meaning of love; unfortunately most of us live in misconstrue love.
Love is an ability empowered by God to accept and forgive imperfections. When God’s love filled you, you are able to perform monumental task. When you administer in God’s love, no one can find fault in your accomplishments. When your accomplishments are fulfilled by love, then God is pleased.
Love is the ultimate authority from God to live our earthly life in perfection. To live in love is to live to please God, bringing Him honor and glory.
1 Corinthians 13:4-8 elucidate the meaning of love unerringly, Love is patient and love is kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never losses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.
You perceive the significance of love when love meets every criterion in your accomplishments. Without love, we live in vain. Without love we live in bitterness. Without love we cannot live to please God who is love.
When we live apart from love, we live apart from God.
Heavenly Father, fill my heart with Jesus Christ who is love that I may live in love because love live in me.

Mistakes Reforms Us
We all hate admitting to making mistakes. None of us wanted to accept, acknowledge and confess having made mistakes. We will try to blame someone for our mistakes. But mistakes are important. Mistakes are like a beacon of light that guide us out of wrongs. Without mistakes we may not know we are wrong. We must learn to accept mistakes because mistakes are healthy. Mistakes are like symptoms revealing a sickness. Without mistakes we cannot understand perfection. Without mistakes we cannot be perfect. Mistakes show us we are wrong so that we can trust the perfect God to guide us.
All of us make mistakes at some time of our life. Some make more than others. Then they are those who believe they are never wrong because they are confident they never make mistakes. The reason God ask us not to judge people is because we all make mistakes. When we make mistakes, we wanted people to understand us and forgive us of our wrong doings. Mistakes are God’s way to reveal our weakness and imperfections and our need for Him to help us.
Why do we deny making mistakes? I guess the reason we blame others for our mistakes is to impress upon others that we are never wrong. We wanted to defend our perfections which are in reality a deception.
Mistakes help us to learn to be better and wiser people. Concealing mistakes weakens us while exposing mistakes strengthens us. Sometimes we need to make many more mistakes to cover a conceal mistake. A conceal mistake not expose may derail and affect your everyday living for a long time. Finally, I confessed all my sins to you and stopped trying to hide them. I said to myself, "I will confess my rebellion to the LORD." And you forgave me! All my guilt is gone. (Psalm 32:5). An exposed mistake receives forgiveness and is set free.
I admitted to my mistakes so that God can correct me. I could have make out a list of people I can blame to make myself look praiseworthy. I could have blamed everyone to wallow in the consolation that I was right all the time.
Did I lose everything in my mistakes? It looks that way. When I reminisce about what had happen, I realized how much I had benefitted from the lesson albeit all its sufferings. I did not lose anything in the entire process; on the contrary I gain an expanded wisdom on living life and develop a richer relationship with my Savior Jesus.
Admitting to having made mistakes humble us. Protecting and defending mistakes are prideful. Admitting mistakes reveal our imperfections and weakness, remembering that we were created out of dust and our need for God. Protecting and defending mistakes mask the true weakness in us making us liars because we claimed to be perfect. Pomposity induce us to decline our need for God to help us.
Accountability to mistakes reveals our weakness. Mistakes build us to be stronger people in facing tougher challenges that surrounds and confront us all the time. God allow us to make mistakes so that we can turn to trust him to guide us.
The first finger pointing episode dated all the way back to the Garden of Eden. The synopsis- at the Garden of Eden, God sternly warned Adam and Eve the deadly repercussions if they chose to eat from the tree of knowledge. The serpent cleverly convinced them that its okay to eat as the fruit of that tree will promote them to equality with God. And when God pursued to uncover who initiated disobedience to his earlier caution, the first ever account of finger pointing unfolded. Adam blamed Eve and Eve blamed the serpent. Each of us is presented with an opportunity to make a right decision prior to making a mistake. Eve could have prevented herself making a mistake if she chose correctly and wisely by heeding God’s warning. Sometimes a single mistake can involve numerous people.
We make mistakes simply because we rejected God’s Spirit to reign in our hearts to help us make the right honorable decisions which will bring glory to God who alone loves us in Christ Jesus our Saviour Lord.
We can either be very sore losers or jubilant victors. And we need to make wise decisions. We can make right wise decisions if we ask Jesus to help us. And He will.
So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves. The sinful nature wants to do evil, which is the opposite of what the Holy Spirit wants. And the Holy Spirit gives us desires that are the opposite of what the sinful nature desires. These two forces are constantly fighting each other, so you are not free to accomplish your good intentions. Galatians 5:16-17

I May Not Be A Crook, I Am No Better Anyway!
Prideful, I will always guard and defend my good name sake by rebutting that I am a crook, never been involved with anything nefarious. I was wrong! Upon an examination of my heart, performed by Dr Jesus in the power of the Holy Spirit, I was shock with my discovery. I was in total shock when God reveal in detail the deceitful contents in my heart.
I was clearly a good man, impressing many with my devout lifestyle. But behind this façade dwell hidden the truthful me; lies, darkness and every form of evil. I possessed a personality disapprove of God. Even though I am not a crook in the presence of man, I was evil in the presence of the Holy Almighty God. I was but a dirty rag (used sanitary napkin ref Isaiah 64:6)!
I may not be a crook but in my heart exist every form of evil composed of lies, anger, sexual immorality, selfish ambition, jealousy, envy, idolatry, and a variation of lustful pleasures. While my visible personality is approved of man, my invisible personality is renounced by God. I could not hide my deceitfulness from the Awesome Almighty God!
The Lord doesn’t see things the way men see them. People judge by outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart. 1 Samuel 16:7
I constantly lie and boast in my conversation, I am filled with anger and jealousy of my friends over their more successful lives, I hid in my room watching pornography, I harbor selfish ambitions by plotting against any achievement by my colleagues, I condemn the less fortunate when eyes are not looking at me, I not only like and love money; I am obsessed with it! All these are treacherous and threaten my pursuit to be reconciled with my heavenly Father, my Saviour Jesus. My inner secret nature must be right to project a true outer nature. Unless I am approved of God, my approval of men is inconsequential.
When you follow the desires of your sinful nature, the results are very clear: sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures, idolatry, sorcery, hostility, quarrelling, jealousy, outburst of anger, selfish ambition, dissension, division, envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other sins like these. Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone living that sort of life will not inherit the kingdom of God. Galatians 5:19-21
Lord Jesus, examine and probe the deepest of my heart and reveal any hidden sins against you that you may cleanse me and forgive me and help me with my repentance.

When A Tiny Deed Wins Thunderous Applause From Heaven
The smallest, most insignificant deed done with love away from the limelight of men may triumph over God’s heart. Every little deed done with love to mankind is a big step back to God’s heart. A deed done with love for an enemy is a giant leap back to God’s heart. A glass of water to someone you love or you hate win a big applause from God, Jesus and every angel in heaven.
When you learn to feed one need today, Jesus Christ will help you feed five thousand needs someday. All Jesus asks from you is start loving one person today and leave him to multiply your act of loving kindness.
A teeny weenie deed done with love translates to a giant leap back into God’s heart.
Perform your kind deeds in private and your heavenly Father who witnesses everything will be pleased and reward you. Matthew 6:4

My True Identity In God's Amazing Grace
Today’s behavioral culture of many is attempting to establish convincingly our character decency and innocence even though we are full of sh*t while condemning others who are truly flawless and squeaky-clean with their way of life. Usually the offenders are those who bear with them a mentality of guilty conscience of some past wrong doings. Perhaps by condemning others, they thought they could distract others from their own guilt.
It’s easy to censure someone’s imperfections but missed examining our own. It’s easy to condemn someone’s imperfections without realizing that we are imperfect ourselves. If not for the Almighty God’s mercies and grace in us through his son, our Saviour Jesus, we may be worse than those we disapprove. In another sense, we are the devil if not for Christ’s love in God’s mercies and grace.
We were caution never to judge a book by its cover.
The face and deeds of a person could never reveal the truth in a person’s heart. The actual truth of a person lies in the heart. That’s the marvelous masterpiece of God’s creation in us. Only God himself have access to the hidden truth and lies that lay deep in our hearts. That’s why only God himself could play the ultimate Sovereign Judge of us.
It’s also easy to condemn anyone when we possess an authoritative and influential status.
While many wrong doers celebrates their convincing escape from their earthly judgments, they easily forgets that it is not so on Judgment Day when God himself will reveal every deceit committed in our hearts.
It is easy to fabricate lies and plot for someone’s misfortunes and thought this malice is kept secretly in our heart never-to-be uncover but we will pay dearly someday because our Maker knows. We’ll be fortunate to get our comeuppance at the hands of man’s judgment and then repent from it, otherwise ‘it’ll be hell’ for us without mercy when God finally judge us!
If we learn not to judge and condemn others, then the seed of Christ's character slowly grow in us.
You may think you can condemn people, but you are just as bad, and you have no excuse! When you say they are wicked and should be punished, you are condemning yourself, for you who judge others do these very same things. Since you judge others for doing wrong, why do you think you can avoid God’s judgment when you do the same things? Romans 2:1,3

When A Servant Is More Honorable Than A Leader
The greatest among men may be the least before God.
Jesus told them, “In this world the kings and great men lord it over their people, yet they are called friends of the people.” But among you it will be different. Those who are the greatest among you should take the lowest rank, and the leader should be like a servant. Who is more important, the one who sits at the table or the one who serves? Tho one who sits at the table, of course. But not here! For I am among you as one who serves. Luke 22:25-27
I prided myself about doing God’s will. But how much do I truly understand what God’s will is?
I aspired to be a leader in God’s plan to lead God’s people. But how can I be a leader of God’s people? Only the Almighty Lord God of Abraham can truly be the leader of His people. I am chosen for Christ’s glory to be God’s servant to serve God’s people, His church.
Leadership projects an arrogant image because when I am a leader or when I believe I am a leader, I will lord over people. On the contrary, if I am a servant, I am humble that I can serve God by serving His people. I dare not lord over God’s people because I remember that I am merely His servant. My Maker decides what and who I am.
Let’s examine and study the leadership icon of the Bible, Moses. Moses took 40 years of negotiating with the Egyptian Pharaoh before God’s people were granted freedom from Egypt. And let’s not forget the plight Moses suffered causing displeasure to God for complaining for the Israelites in the desert resulting him missing out setting foot in God’s Promised Land. Next, we have a look at Jesus, the son of the living God. Being a servant of God’s will may require us to die for our worst enemies, getting spat at, washing feet, and being accused of wrong doing albeit innocent; and that’s just to mention a few. Or are we only interested in selective responsibilities like teaching people (where we can show off our knowledge and intelligence), supervising and controlling people (where we can be pompous over our gifted influence), always forgetting that it’s the Holy Spirit equipping us with power and abilities to accomplish God’s will.
I pondered over a few points- To be a servant means observing total obedience to God’s instructions which are mostly insensible sacrificing any opportunity of displaying my talent, knowledge and intelligence which I often thought are wise. Do I only want to lead in comfortable surroundings or serve with constant endurance of misfortunes? Am I prepared to walk and work where the Holy Spirit assigned me? Am I prepared to serve if there is no recognition from men? And am I prepared to serve without any form of monetary gains?
I have, through my discreet observance that those who carry the title leaders always flaunt their talents but those who are true servants of the gospel hide modestly their obedience in offering to serve, remembering that they are dust and their potentials are the work of the Holy Spirit. A servant serves with the knowledge that it is God, himself who does His own work in the power of the Holy Spirit. A servant serves honoring God with his obedience. A servant serves remembering that he is only dust, and a vessel in God’s salvation plan for His glory.
A leader is an honorable rank among men whereas a servant bears resemblance of Christ’s humble stature.
So why do we aspire to be leaders when there is more honor to be a servant.
You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had. Though he was god, he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. Instead, he gave up his divine privileges; he took the humble position of a servant and was born as a human being. When he appeared in human form, he humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross. Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him a name above all other names, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:5-11
If you aspired to serve for the honor and glory of God, the Father, serve with the humility and love that Christ has filled you in the power of the Holy Spirit. And please do remember this, whether you are serving as a leader or a servant, it is Christ at work in you in the power of the Holy Spirit who equipped you and gifted you with the abilities, lest you boasted and robbed God of His glory. Do not be critical of who and what you are in God’s service for God will reward you for your obedience and faithfulness.
May God who is in Christ Jesus help me to serve Him with the same attitude as Jesus Christ who alone loves me at the cross. Teach and help me each day to offer a glass of water to the people you placed in my midst with the love and humility you have filled my heart. Teach me and grant me an understanding servant’s heart that I am always serving under a Great Leader who has set an example as a Great Servant. May my Lord Jesus help me to draw faith from Him to live my earthly life for His honor and glory?
Bless the reader of this message with a passionate and humble heart to serve you my Saviour Lord.
Journey To The Center Of God's Heart
I have a problem I believed everyone else shared the same. I can’t seem to shake myself off from the authority and influence of money in my life. So, I thought I try getting some answers by praying and seeking the One Almighty God who alone loves me and have mercy on me in Christ Jesus, our Saviour Lord.
“Try trusting in Me a little bit everyday by giving up a little bit of the world. When you trust your earthly life by revolving around me instead of money, then you will experience my peace, security, and riches,” assured my Saviour God.
“Lord Jesus, you must help me with my obedience and provide me your strength to draw faith from you to trust in you. Help me each day as I journey my way back to your heart,” I knelt, prayed, and asked my Saviour.
Give me an eagerness for your laws rather than a love for money! Turn my eyes from worthless things, and give me life through your word. Psalm 119:36-37
In the book of 1 Samuel chapter 8, Israel asked for a king to rule them instead of the Creator God who is their king and Provider. Through the Prophet Samuel, the Almighty Lord God of Abraham portended and elucidated the consequences of their choice. Stubbornly, the Israelites ignored God’s caution.
Could our predicament today, being slave to money, a result of our rejection of God’s warning or was it our sins at the Garden of Eden? Honestly, I don’t have the answer.
I only know that Jesus Christ is God’s answer to all of mankind’s earthly problems.
Jesus Christ is the only way back to God’s heart!

Our Prayers Reveals The Truth In Us
When we pray, what do we pray? How do we pray? Who do we pray for? The characteristics of our prayers reflects our true Christian character to man and God, the Father, Saviour in Jesus Christ.
Without first establishing an intimate relationship with the One True God, it's difficult to pray. Are our hearts and lives right before God when we approach Him in prayers? All these are very important criteria because we must remember that God is holy. Pray because you acknowledged that Jesus Christ who lives in you is in control of you. Praying cement our relationship with the One True Living Christ. Praying bring honors and glory to God. Praying protect us from evil. Praying unite us to God through Christ who died and forgave us at the cross. Praying enrich our wisdom. Praying is learning to shed our pride and humble ourselves before the Almighty Living God and Creator.
How long you pray is not so important, but the contents of your prayers may be important because what and who you pray for indicate your true character. Do you pray for those who persecute you? Do you pray for those you hate to love? Do you pray for those who are considered condemn? Are you praying for your neighbors? What about the nation God places you in? Are you praying for the ruling government of your country? When you pray, are your prayers filled with Christ’s love and compassion? When we pray for each other and those who persecute us, we demonstrate Christ love and compassion alive in us.
Who you pray for unmask who you are to God. Our prayer life reveals who we are to God. When you pray, pray with Christ’s love and compassion that fills your heart. Pray with and in faith. Pray because you believe that Jesus Christ is Lord. Pray and feel certain that your prayers are answered.
If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven. 2 Chronicles 7:14
Praying is worshipping God in Jesus Christ, acknowledging that He is the Sovereign God in our lives.

1 Kings 3:9-13
So I ask that you give me wisdom so that I can rule and judge the people in the right way. This will allow me to know the difference between right and wrong. Without this great wisdom, it is impossible to rule these great people." The Lord was happy that Solomon asked him for this. So God said to him, "You did not ask for long life for yourself. And you did not ask for riches for yourself. You did not ask for the death of your enemies. You asked for the wisdom to listen and make the right decisions. So, I will give you the thing you asked. I will make you wise and intelligent. I will make your wisdom so great, that there has never in the past been anyone like you. And in the future, there will never be anyone like you. Also, to reward you, I will give you those things that you did not ask for. All your life, you will have riches and honor. There will be no other king in the world as great as you.

My Rock
When I resolved to involve myself with Christianity, the Holy Spirit started working in me to develop an understanding of love, respecting life and the creation of God almighty. The spirit of Christ aids me to believe in love. Each day in Christ I grow in my walk with love accompanied by spending time concern for others. I started learning to pray for loved ones, friends and others.
When Christ love dwells in me, the Holy Spirit teaches me to grow Christ love in me by caring for people I love and hate to love. The Holy Spirit also teaches me to pray for these people because prayers are a part of caring and loving. The Holy Spirit teaches me to pray for their well-being, and to provide them safety in their daily chore.
The Holy Spirit teaches me to run and seek refuge in Jesus wherever troubles invade me. The Holy Spirit teaches me to trust Jesus through every discipline and oppression I encounter.
The most demanding lesson is most definitely the lesson to accomplish deeds in love- to pray for people I hate, to care and feed strangers and ungrateful friends, to give and share from scarcity.
Jesus Christ is my rock and He builds my faith on Him. My Saviour God sent his son Jesus Christ to build me to be His church. And Christ teaches and helps me build his church fulfilling his love alive in me in deeds.
Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing. John 15:5

Jesus Can, I Can't!
Each time when I am confronted with a titanic task, I have to halt my weakness by not running or turning away. I have to remind myself that each task heading my direction, big or small belongs to Jesus to tackle. The battle has never been mine. If ever I succumb to my weakness in handling any assignment or trial, then I am belittling the power of my master Jesus who work powerfully in me and to whom I have entrusted my faith to manage my earthly life. Jesus is my Lord!
Jesus Christ is my strength in my weakness, wisdom in my foolishness, his perfect grace sustain my sinful nature and guide my emotions. Without him, I am dust!
Jesus Christ is my victory! Partnering him, I can conquer the world to live forever with him and the Father in the kingdom of Heaven. Jesus Christ is the victor, not me! He is the conqueror of death and I have placed my faith and hope in him to help me conquer my fear of death to live in victory with him soon. Jesus Christ, the son of the living God whom I trust to be my Saviour, is helping me run the race and cross the finishing line.
Jesus Christ my Saviour Lord is helping me run and finish my race so that I can claim my prize- A Christian, a Son of God. I am not a Christian until I finish the race and be rewarded with a sonship.
I want to finish the race and claim the prize to be a Christian, a son! I trust my earthly life to you my Saviour Lord Jesus!
Because Jesus lives, I live!

Largesse In Love
If there is nothing to gain from giving, then why are people so zealous to the extent of a need to lie and boast about giving? If there are no benefits in giving, then why the concern to give? And who is more blessed in this testimony, the giver or the receiver? And why the Bible would bestow this praise to the giver by citing the following in Acts 20:35, it is more blessed to give than to receive.
While many people believe and understand the act of giving and the benefits and blessings accompanying it, surprisingly, there are as many withholding from accomplishing this deed. Yet there are many who will plot to benefit from receiving.
To be a recipient is not an offence; the transgression is in harboring greed. You receive because you have a need not because you are greedy! You give because Jesus love filled your heart and not because of any personal agenda. When the act of giving is not a part of Jesus love that fills your heart, then your giving is in vain.
The giver gives because he honors and acknowledges God’s blessings to him. How many times have you heard this phrase, “If I have, I will definitely give.” You give not because you are rich with money; you give because you have a rich, generous heart in sharing. Giving is not about money; giving is about love. You give because Christ love lives in your hearts; all other reasons are insignificant. The act of giving exhibit God’s love alive in our hearts.
God gave us his only begotten son, our Saviour Jesus because He loves us. If love is absent in our giving, then we give in vain 1 Corinthians 13:3
The ability to give confirmed our experience and understanding of God’s love for us at the cross and now are alive in our hearts!

The Borderless (Wall-less) Church
Is the church of God within the four walls or beyond the four walls?
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witness, telling people about me everywhere- in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. Acts 1:8
Firstly, understand that church has always been people and never the building.
Is God limiting the gospel of his son, our Saviour Jesus within the four walls or beyond the four walls? If the church (people) of God is limited within the four walls, then what is the church (people) beyond the four walls? We go to church- Do we go to a building or do we go to the people?
The church that is within the four walls is apparently under the administration of man. The church within and beyond the four walls belonged to God. The administration of God's church is always govern by the power of the Holy Spirit. My sheep recognize my voice; I know them, and they follow me. John 10:27
Something that is beyond my comprehension is why those within the four walls habitually judge and believe they are better than those beyond the four walls. Jesus Christ and his disciples move from place to place to preach about the Kingdom of God. An approved church is one that works both sides because I believe God work both sides!
I believe God’s church have no walls. The church of God is and always has been around us. The church of God has always been you and me. We are the glory of God- each of us is precious to God who redeemed us with the very precious blood of his son, our Saviour Jesus! Acts 20:28
The church of God are those who are chosen, yield to the authority of the Holy Spirit and are obedient to Christ’s teachings regardless whether they worship inside or outside a building. The church of God are those who obey Jesus’ teachings!

What's The Purpose Of Your Visits?
If people don't listen to God, do you think they will listen to man?
If they are listening to God, then why do they need to listen to man?
I am merely answering a friend who ask why I rarely go to church these days?
Fellowship and encouragement? How do you fellowship and encourage each other? Pray for each other? What happened when fellowship and encouragement involve money? A lot of us have no problem participating in fellowship and encouragement as long as money is not involved.
People go to church for selfish reasons and not because they wanted to be a part of God's love at the cross in his son Jesus. We are in church to expect some form of blessings from God.
Perhaps people should learn to enjoy being in church because of God's love for each of us, his church, his family. Going to church is a family affair- Christs' love must exist in each of us to be a a part of the bigger church which is Christ body. We are knitted into him because God first knitted us into Himself by his love at the cross.
No one hates his own body but feeds and cares for it, just as Christ cares for the church. And we are members of his body. This is a great mystery, but it is an illustration of the way Christ and the church are one. Ephesians 5:29, 32
When you understand God's love in our Saviour Jesus at the cross for you and what is church, then the meaning of going to church establish an absolute contrast in your mind-set. Then going to church is a totally different experience.
Bear in mind that God build his church which is you and me because of his amazing love for us; similarly when we are in his church, we build each other in his love because his love is alive in us!
If God's love doesn't exist in our hearts in all our accomplishments, then everything is done in vain 1 Corinthians 13:1-3
Let's not simply say that we love each other; let us show the truth by our actions 1 John 3:18
Trust me, I am not harboring any form of bitterness towards the church or anyone in particular- I am still attending church; only my church is different from your church
When you know the truth, you will live for the truth!
If they are listening to God, then why do they need to listen to man?

Please Don't Ask Me
Each passing day goes without me having to question whether I will actually offer myself a living sacrifice to be a part of God’s plan without pay and fame.
I questioned myself whether I am prepared to be obedient to emulate those godly men in the Bible whom God favored very much. I frequently questioned the extend of my obedience and faith; will I and can I do anything for God if there is nothing in it for me except the promises of a great reward when Jesus my Saviour returns?
The Lord had said to Abram, “Leave your native country, your relatives, and your father’s family, and go to the land that I will show you (Genesis 12:1). I have asked myself whether I am prepared to give up everything to demonstrate my obedience.
You will not enter the land I am giving to the people of Israel (Deuteronomy 32:52). After accomplishing so much for God, I may end up not getting anything at all. No accolades at all!
The Lord told Gideon, “With these 300 men, I will rescue you and give you victory over the Midianites (Judges 7:7). Wow! 300 men to fight against an army of 135,000- again, I questioned my faith in trusting the Lord my God.
And the Lord said, “This is the one; anoint him.” (1 Samuel 16:12). I wonder whether I am prepared to undergo what King David did to be king.
I came naked from my mother’s womb, and I will be naked when I leave. The Lord gave me what had, and the Lord has taken it away. Praise the name of the Lord! Job 1:21)
I have questioned my faith whether I only worship God for the good things he can bless me and is not prepared for the worst of anything in my life. After experiencing the worst, can I still emulate Job, praising my Saviour God?
Foxes have dens to live in, and birds have nests, but the Son of man has no place even to lay his head (Matthew 8:20). Do I need to comment further? No bungalows and Mercedes, it’s no dice for me for such responsibilities. And I have to die for people who kill me!
I don’t think I need to elucidate more what the disciples endure to be a part of God’s plan and will.
Lord, if there’s nothing in it for me, no money and no fame, then no thanks- please leaves me out of your plans. How am I supposed to accomplish anything without money? Just telling me to trust in you and your power is not good enough to convince me; show me the money and I’ll be convinced!
Lord, please disclose to me whether it’s true that your purpose cannot be achieved without the intervention of money? Is this a new covenant- You and Money- a new partnership? Lord, today nobody does anything for free anymore- the last time anything was free was your mercy, grace and unfailing love at the cross. Lord, is it true that you will bless us with money to accomplish your purpose? Lord, help me to believe that it was your amazing love that moved you to have mercy on me. It was your amazing love that saved a wretch like me.
In everything we do, we show that we are true minister of God. We patiently endure troubles and hardships and calamities of every kind. We have been beaten, been put in prison, faced angry mobs, worked to exhaustion, endured sleepless nights, and gone without food. We serve God whether people honor us or despise us, whether they slander us or praise us. We are honest, but they call us imposters (2 Corinthians 6:4-5, 8). Lord, why is it that your servants of yesteryears have to endure so much suffering to do your will but your servants of today live in extravagance?
I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father. John 14:12
Lord, help me each day as I battle myself to overcome my weakness to mutter Lord, I want your will to be done, not mine!

Be Safe, Be Saved!
When the journey of your life seems endlessly lost and futile
Do not despair, for your heavenly Father is your faithful, trustworthy companion with your journey
When the route seems lost, hopeless and uphill
Trust in Jesus, for he is the Light of the world, your Saviour Redeemer
Cling on to Him and never let go of him
For in Lord Jesus is mercy, hope and love
Trust in Jesus, call on his name
Our Saviour promised that he will not abandon nor forsake you during your most arduous moments
At the cross, He has undertake to rescue us
For those who believe in him
He will be your strength in your weakness, your wisdom in your foolishness
He will deliver you from every kind of temptation and evil
To freely gift you with God’s salvation, forgiving all your wrongs
All Jesus ask of you is
Believe He is the son of the Living God
Who came to die for all your wrongdoings
On the third day He was resurrected by the Holy Spirit, victorious over death
To bring to those who hope in Him
To give life to those who believe in Him
That someday soon, Jesus will return
To bring us, who has place our trust in him, home safely into the loving arms of the Father
Believe in Him today!
Yes Lord Jesus, salvation is in you alone
You are the Way, the Truth and the Life
In you alone, even though we die, we live
Because Jesus Live!

Love- A Lopsided Amour
A friend once shared the following- if you give someone a hug, you will receive a hug in return.
What if your hug is not reciprocated? Will you continue to love?
Jesus Christ came to love us at the cross but most of us responded negatively- will he stop offering his amazing love to those who chose to reject him?
Our Saviour’s offer of his love at the cross is available until we breathe our last. His merciful love at the cross never rejects us even when we reject Him.
How can there be victory in love if we stop loving those we hate to love? God’s grace work in us through his son, Jesus our Saviour. If we stop loving those we hate to love, how then can we claim victory for God’s grace that work through us in his son Jesus? How can we produce friends out of enemies? How can we produce believers out of unbelievers?
“Father, forgive them, for they don’t know what they are doing.” Luke 23:34. Even when dying on the cross for all our wrongdoings, our Lord Saviour Jesus maintains his love for us.
Christ died for us at a time when we were helpless and sinful. No one is really willing to die for an honest person, though someone might be willing to die for a truly good person. But God showed how much he loved us by having Christ die for us, even though we were sinful. Romans 5:6-8
Godly love which is true and unconditional is always lopsided!

Fame: A Dirty Four Letter Word
Money and pride in us generate significance with people and the world, but love and humility finds favor with God. What compose you?
Do not love this world or the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you. For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world. And this world is fading away, along with everything that people crave. But anyone who does what pleases god will live forever. 1 John 2:15-17. ‘Watch out! Don’t do your good deeds publicly, to be admired by others, for you will lose the reward from your Father in heaven. Matthew 6:1
We constantly pursue fame in money and pride but sidestep the true riches of God which are patience, kindness, generosity, love, gentleness, self-control, joy, peace, faithfulness and goodness. Galatians 5:22-23. Today, we unconsciously are bondage of fame in money and pride.
When God show up in our world, he came as a lowly person, insignificant. He wasn’t seeking for fortune or fame. He only wanted to fulfill God’s will to love us by dying for us to reconcile us to the Father, Creator who alone have mercy and unfailing for us, his children created out of his own hands. Throughout Scripture, Jesus always taught us about humility and love. Our Saviour Jesus prioritizes love and humility throughout his teaching. Washing the feet of his disciples, meeting needs of the less fortunate, attending to the poor and sick, examples of servant hood, suffering and dying at the cross for us when we were still his enemies are just some of his deeds that amaze us.
If you believe you are a product of Christ love and humility at the cross, are you a product of Christ love and humility amidst His creations? (1 Corinthians 13:1-3)
Remember that our Saviour God wasn’t seeking fame or fortune that is of this world when He came to save us (Read Matthew 8:20). He came prepared to suffer all our sufferings. He came because He loved us.
(Read more about our suffering Saviour God who alone love and have mercy on us in Christ Jesus in Isaiah 53).

Help Me, My Saviour Jesus!
A reader wrote to inquire the possibility of anyone observing and fulfilling obedience to Jesus teachings in the Bible.
My reply is that a person must be devout with a heart that is passionate and sincerely devoted in pursuing God’s heart. Then you will experience help from God’s spirit, the Holy Spirit. It’s impossible to live our earthly life to please God without assistance from the Holy Spirit.
We must understand that observing obedience to Christ teachings require a person to place his faith in Jesus to gain help of the Holy Spirit equipping us with the ability to comprehend God’s love for us at the cross. I believe that if a person have not understood God’s amazing mercy, grace and unfailing love in his son Jesus at the cross, then it’s totally impossible to be obedient. An obedient child manages his discernment of God’s instructions by not allowing interpretation of God’s instructions by his human wisdom. An obedient child possess complete faith in God’s instructions through results of very intimate relationship build on constant fellowships.
How is it possible for Abraham to be obedient to God’s command to sacrifice Isaac? How could Jesus die for us when we are still God’s enemies? Both recognize their God, their Creator Father personally through constant fellowship! When your relationship with God is so intimate, you hear and feel Him.
We must be rich in faith to support our obedience. Without faith that Jesus is the Saviour God, it’s impossible to honor obedience to Jesus’ teachings.
The Holy Spirit helps us with our obedience by teaching us to identify that God’s instructions is the primary focus and not the object or subject in question.
How can anyone be obedient to our Lord Saviour Jesus’ teachings to love those we hate to love?
The reason why we grapple to develop a heart of obedience to this teaching is because we allow deception to portray to us that the subject is our enemy, someone we hated instead of just being obedient to Jesus’ teachings to love. We need to understand obedience before we can accomplish obedience. Obedience is not questioning the bequeath to accomplish the assignment (I hope I am phrasing it correctly).
“Abba, Father,” Jesus cried out, “everything is possible for you. Please take this cup of suffering away from me. Yet I want your will to be done, not mine.” Mark 14:36. Here we discover and learn how Jesus our Saviour manage obedience. Jesus understood the importance of God’s glory and how much the Father love the son, and knowing that the Father will help him with his obedience by the power of the Holy Spirit, Jesus Christ fulfilled God’s will. Similarly, when we experience an uphill task in our obedience to Jesus’ teachings, we must cry out to Jesus to help us by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Anyway a more precise and honest answer to possessing an ability to be obedient is that it is impossible to be obedient to God if you do not love Jesus Christ.
How do I personally survive obedience? Each moment of my confrontation with obedience, I asked my Saviour Jesus to help me because in Him, I have the victory!

A Trustworthy Foundation
The church of God is built on His love through His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ at the cross.
The church of God is built on His love, humility, mercy and grace in Jesus Christ. All these components are trustworthy. God’s goodness in these components can never fade away; they are everlasting!
Are you, the church of God in Jesus Christ built on the Rock? Are you built on the goodness of God or are you built on the evils of this world? Are you built on Jesus Christ, the son of the living God?
Are you, who are the Church which Jesus Christ built, building on obedience to His teachings?
Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock. Matthew 7:24
Human beings are the glory of God, created out of his own hands, redeemed through his mercy, grace and unfailing love in his son, Jesus at the cross.
What are you built on? What is your foundation?

Flesh And Blood
How much do we appreciate the true family God gifted us?
Ponder for a minute- are you spending more time with your true family or are you spending more time with your ‘imposter’ family? Examine your invested time closely! Do not allow deception to trap you into believing that ‘if I don’t pour out my sacrifices in my work, how am I to earn more and secure a better financial status to care for my family?’ Research has proven that a large percentage of those who worship their work harvest consequences of broken families.
If we die tomorrow, the company (the imposter family) that we sacrifice our time working for could easily replace that loss within days?
But the family who love us and we left behind will grieved that loss for the rest of their lives.
Money is not instrumental in constructing a healthy wholesome family; love plays the ultimate role.
Organize priceless time to spend with your family today. For if a man cannot manage his own household, how can he take care of God’s family? 1 Timothy 3:5
The best security to a wholesome healthy family filled with unfailing love is by placing your trust in the Almighty Creator God, Father of our Saviour Jesus!
The word FAMILY means?
Families Are Miracles- I Love You!

My Serenity Prayer
Lord Jesus, through the gifting of the Holy Spirit to me, please help me to pray a prayer approved of you......
In the stillness of God’s presence, I kneel to pray and seek God help me accept and love those people I cannot change. I ask God in the power of the Holy Spirit to help me overcome every trial that comes from the world.
I also ask God to equip me through the Holy Spirit to grant me His strength, fearlessness, wisdom and faith to change the person I can change and repent- that is the unholy trinity of Me, Myself and I.
May my Saviour God, Father of my Lord Jesus, also equip me with His wisdom and understanding to behold His plans for my life, to be grateful for His mercy, grace and unfailing love for me at the cross, fill me with His truth to set me free from deceptions and darkness and gift me with His Holy Spirit to teach, counsel, guide, and guard me and sustain me in my faith in Jesus Christ that He is the Son of the living God, resurrected from the dead to produce in me a hope from my faith in Him that someday my Saviour will return to bring me home safely to my heavenly Father.
Lord Jesus, thank you for loving me unconditionally. Cram me with your love and humility to love you by loving people I hate and struggle to love.

Mind Your Words!
“Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me” is a saying that many of us recited from childhood to adulthood. But is it true? Do words have the power to affect us?
Wrong choices of words bore destructive effects on society. Many quarrels and arguments, murders, fights, divorces, suicides and much unhappiness have been directly caused by the choice of someone’s words. Wrong choices of words not only affect others but it also affects those who speak them. And normally it originates from the mouths of those who harbor bitterness.
A bitter person is a storehouse of negative and discouraging words; bringing ruins to themselves, while attempting to run down others. Mind what spew from your mouths!
On the flip side, positive and encouraging words can inspire, create happiness, promote good relationships and help produce stability and peace. Kind words are good medicine, but deceitful words brings harm (Proverbs 15:4).
Words do have power—choose and use them carefully and wisely!

(Are You) A Malaysian Idle?
“Can I get a lunch or dinner from you?” asked an unusually extremely polite Diane.
“No!” I answered abruptly, curtailing her from explaining her reasons for asking the free meals.
I questioned Diane why she wasn’t working since leaving college about three years ago. Her excuse was that she couldn’t get a satisfactory job anywhere else. Perhaps she had develop being lackadaisical, living on the occasional generosity from all her friends and the continuous handouts from her siblings and parents.
I whipped out my Bible from behind my back pocket of my pants and showed her these verses in 2 Thessalonians 3:10-12, asking her to read it out loud to herself, Even while we were with you, we gave you this command: “Those unwilling to work will not get to eat.” Yet we hear that some of you are living idle lives, refusing to work and meddling in other people’s business. We command such people and urge them in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ to settle down and work to earn their own living.
“But nobody wanted to employ me!” Diane rejoined trying to justify her idleness.
“The answer to getting a job is not to be choosy,” I reprimanded her, citing the following sayings from Confucius, “Ride on a cow to look for a horse!” J

God's Glory
As human beings, we will never be able to fathom God’s thoughts and ways. We must remember that we are dust.
What we perceive as disasters and tragedies amid us may not be the wholesome truth. We don’t understand God’s plan for us. If God, who alone loves us, came to die for us to save us from death, will He plan to destroy us? I’ll always believe that God has never intended for us to die- He has always hope for us to live.
A long time ago, God exhibit his wrath over Sodom and Gomorrah, bringing complete destruction to these two cities because God couldn’t accept their exceedingly overwhelming sins. Finally when God really couldn’t endure our sins, heart-broken, He decided to destroy us by sending a flood.
God made a promise that He will never bring a calamity of that magnitude to mankind again; with the rainbow as a witness to his oath. But mankind continues their rebellion against the Almighty Creator. Apparently we were never sorry for our wrongdoings.
God, our Almighty Creator sends Himself in Christ Jesus to come and save us. Unrepentant, we continue to sin and reject God’s salvation.
Nevertheless, God still love us. God in his amazing grace is sustaining his patience by waiting for us to be repentant! (2 Peter 3:10)
God love and have mercy on us not because we deserve anything, but because He is the Father. A Father will never abandon his children that are birthed out of his own hands.
While I do not understand God’s ways, I guessed that God loves us so much that sometimes he need to sacrifice some lives to save more lives. We must constantly maintain in our hearts the wonderful mercy, grace of God in his unfailing love. Remember that it was his infinite love for us that he came to die for us.
When bad things happened to us, God who alone loves us takes the blame forgetting that it was our sins that brought us those consequences.
When bad things happen to us or when such calamities take place in our midst, maybe it’s time to do a rain check of our sins against the Creator. Maybe it’s time to repent? Or maybe it’s time to understand God’s love for us? Then again, maybe it’s time to pray? Or is it time for us to be more passionate with our relationship with Him? There could be so many other reasons except to blame him.
Take heed of God’s message through every episode that transit in our everyday lives, so that we can seek his mercy, grace and unfailing love to help us turn to him so he can heal us and restore his goodness unto us.
Whatever it is, I offer my thanksgivings to my Saviour God Jesus for his mercy, grace and unfailing love for coming to die to redeem me from destruction. While I do not understand God’s plan and will for each of us, I do know that his plans will always bring glory to Him. For those who develop a doubt for God’s love while experiencing adversity, be encourage by holding on to God’s promises in Romans 8:37-39 And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow- not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below- indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Thank you Lord Jesus for forgiving my sins and helping me each day to live obediently to the power of the Holy Spirit, gifted to guide, counsel, teaches and protects me.
I confess with my mouth and believe in my heart that Jesus is the son of the living God, who came to die at the cross and forgive my sins, resurrected by the Holy Spirit on the third day to bring to me a hope because the Holy Spirit helps me placed my trust in the son of God to someday return to bring me home safely to my heavenly Father.
Today, I asked the Holy Spirit gifted to help me live my earthly life for His honor and glory, to help me kneel before my Almighty Saviour God, Father of my Saviour Jesus to fast for the nations of China and Myanmar; asking God, to remember his mercy, grace and unfailing for us.
Lord Saviour Jesus, all glory, power and honor belongs to you now and forever! Amen!

Amen!

Enemy No.1
The worst and most destructive god that man has ever created out of his own hands is Money. It is the only god and idol that distracts and snare us from our worship of the One True Saviour God of Israel in Christ Jesus, his son our Lord Saviour.
It is no wonder God has compel us to decide between him and money (Matthew 6:24). Apparently, man can bequeath anything, except money! Remember the rich man in Matthew 19:20-22 who claimed to live and do everything right, living a godly life but could not leave behind his money and earthly possessions to follow our Saviour Jesus.
The Bible consistently warn us the peril in trusting money, but today, man has corrupted God’s wisdom by intelligently interpreting that God and Money are a compatible partnership in our lives and in God’s will..Dear children, keep away from anything that might take God’s place in your hearts. (1 John 5:21)
Or how about Micah 3:11, You rulers govern for the bribes you can get; you priests teach God's laws only for a price; you prophets won't prophesy unless you are paid. Yet all of you claim you are depending on the LORD. "No harm can come to us," you say, "for the LORD is here among us."
I know the unquenchable question of how to manage and live lives without money perpetually attracts dispute. The obvious answer is and has always been in trusting God who is in Jesus Christ, his son our Saviour! Our heavenly Father promised that He will provide for us if only we placed our trust in Him (Matthew 6:30).
God gave us everything He created except money; Money is the creation of man, not Gods (Genesis 1:26-29).

Graduation Day
I wanted to be a Christian since a young lad at seven.
Since then many people have been asking me whether I am a Christian.
My answer is always, “I don’t really know, not until I crossed the finishing line at the end of the race,”
Just like in everyday life, there are people who aspire to be someone in their career choice, but we are not one until graduation day when we are attributed with that qualification. It’s the same with Christianity- you aren’t one until The Judge credited you to be one! “Look, I am coming soon, bringing my reward with me to repay all people according to their deeds. Revelation 22:12
I cannot profess to be a doctor until I graduated from it.
So each day, with the help of the Holy Spirit gifted to help me live my earthly life, I lived with faith trusting in Jesus Christ, my Saviour to aid me to cross the finishing line to pick up my rewards as a son of the living God of Israel.
A true son is one who is obedient to the teachings of Jesus. Unless and until I passed every trial here on earth, I will never know whether I qualify as a true son of the Living God.
I want to be a Christian; I really do! Holy Spirit, I pray you help me for without You, I can never develop enough faith to be one.

Definition Of Generosity
When I retain what I have, I have less....when I share what I have, I have more.
God, the Father of our Saviour Jesus bless those who share what they have from a heart that is filled with His love and humility.

Definition Of Kindness
Selfishness is when I can do everything on my own...kindness is when my Saviour Jesus helps me.

Building The Right Church
How well do you understand the meaning of church?
Man's church is a building; God's church is man created out of his own hands.
I used to give towards building man's church; nowadays I give towards building God's church.
Man build his church with money; God build his church with his love.
If you help man build his church, man is pleased; if you want to build God's church, God will help you and He will be pleased.
Please ask God to help you build his church, his people, his children. God created the poor and needy in our midst, not because we can help them but because through them, God can teach us how to love and be kind.
But who am I, and who are my people, that we could give anything to you? Everything we have has come from you, and we give you only what you first gave us! 1 Chronicles 29:14
Each time when I give, I thank God, my heavenly Father and Father of my Saviour Jesus, reminding me that I am only giving what He first gave me.
Each time when I give, it is Jesus who helps me to give. I can do nothing on my own! Philippians 4:13
You need not be rich to give; the ability to give itself, is a rich act!
The ability to give results from a heart that is filled with Christ love.
Giving without love is not giving! 1 Corinthians 13:3
Struggling to give??? Easy! Ask Jesus to help you and He will!

DEFINITION OF RICHES
Then I was asked to define riches in less than 20 words.....
When I have nothing, Jesus was with me.....
When I have nothing, Jesus was with me.....

DEFINITION OF LOVE
I was asked to define love in less than 30 words…..
Man possessed two contrasting love:
Human love confined us to love the people we love; godly love sustains us to love the people we want to love and people we hate to love….
You have heard the law that says, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy. But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you! In that way, you will be acting as true children of your Father in heaven. For he gives his sunlight to both the evil and the good, and he sends rain on the just and the unjust alike. If you love only those who love you, what reward is there for you? Even corrupt tax collectors do that much. If you are kind only to your friends, how are you different from anyone else? Even pagans do that. But you are to be perfect, even as your Father in heaven is perfect. Matthew 5:43-48

Start With One
I used to remind myself that if I don’t learn to give one cent today, the ability to give two cents tomorrow is impossible.
Start with the easiest and smallest number- one!
Feed one person today.
Love one person today.
Visit one sick person today.
Hug one person today.
Smile at one person today.
Give to one person today.
Pray for one person today.
Greet one person today.
If one is an impossible number to you, then nothing is possible. Each of us is a ONE!
Charity starts with ONE.

Not A Yes Man!
Many people identify with bucking the crowd and being one's own person, but how can we know when that's what we should do? Here's an example of someone who was a nonconformist for the right reason.
Many people today seek the approval and acceptance of others. They like to fit in with the crowd. Even those on the fringes of society who rebel against the mainstream culture—the nonconformists—seek approval and acceptance from others in their own group. If you really think about it, it seems that most nonconformists are actually conforming to something after all!
But Noah was not like most people. In fact, he was unlike every other person in the world at that moment in history. Noah sought his acceptance and approval from God. In his quest to do that, he had to utterly reject the actions of those around him. He didn't fit in with the culture around him. In fact, he put himself in direct opposition to it as a "preacher of righteousness". But Noah found favor with the Lord. -Genesis 6:8- Imagine when God only found one righteous person in the world.
His life of righteousness was so totally different from the world's culture, God decided to use him to continue the human race after the great Flood. As the society around him grew worse, God instructed Noah to start building an ark and to preach righteousness.
When no one responded to Noah's preaching, God brought a great flood that covered the entire earth. He then started the world all over again through Noah and his family.
When commissioned, Noah had only God to guide him. It seems he had no living role models to imitate. His great-grandfather, the righteous Enoch, died a few years before his birth. Other than those few family members with him, he had no human support or encouragement.
Before the Flood, Noah had to swim against the current, and it was a difficult task. During that time humanity became so sinful that the Bible says people's intentions were "only evil continually" (Genesis 6:5). Noah was surrounded by people who had rejected the truth and he had to live and raise his family in a world completely spoiled by the effects of sin.
Being a nonconformist for righteousness must have been not just socially uncomfortable, but also very dangerous, since the Bible describes that society as extraordinarily violent. Genesis 6:11- Now God saw that the earth had become corrupt and was filled with violence.
You may have noticed that when people are doing wrong, they resent those who are doing good and often become hostile toward them. Noah may well have suffered threats on his life and perhaps even physical beatings as the apostle Paul later would.
Noah was subjected to dealing with unpopularity. When I left a church group some years back, to be obedient to the Holy Spirit’s calling, I became unpopular with many people. Our Saviour Jesus was another example who was unpopular with the Pharisees and the teachers of religious law. In John 15:18-19, Jesus already forewarned those whom were chosen to belong to the Kingdom of God, if the world hates you, remember that it hated me first. The world would love you as one of its own if you belonged to it, but you are no longer part of the world. I chose you to come out of the world, so it hates you.
Noah was popular with God but God gave Noah an unpopular job. The building of the ark on dry land was a monumental warning to the world of an impending disaster, but this must have seemed ridiculous to the people of that time. Imagine the jeers and comments Noah and his family had to endure as they labored on the ark. Even the idea of enough water collecting to cause that much flooding might have seemed a preposterous concept!
Some scientists believe that the atmosphere before the Flood was very different from ours today. Heavy rainfall may have been unknown before the Flood. Regardless of the atmospheric properties, Noah and his family undoubtedly drew plenty of sarcastic comments regarding their ark-building activity.
In the long run, Noah and his family survived the Flood because Noah obeyed God's instructions. God made a covenant with him because of his obedience and his story teaches us that God always delivers on His promises to those who trust and obey Him.
Jesus Christ told His disciples that the mentality in society at His return would be just like that of Noah's day (Matthew 24:37-39). People will be so caught up in their activities that they will be surprised by the return of Jesus. As we await Christ's return, we need to remember that we, like Noah, must not conform to this world (Romans 12:1-2). Let's follow Noah's example by being nonconformists to sin and conformists to God!

Priceless Moments....
All of us have our personal experience of priceless moments.
Let me humbly with the help of the Holy Spirit share mine….
My most priceless moments were during my days of emptiness…when I lost everything that is of this world in life. It is when I have nothing, I have everything! It is during these times that I discovered how much my Saviour Jesus loved me.
I never knew the value of true riches until I have nothing because through emptiness I beheld the abundance of my heavenly Father in Christ Jesus my Saviour.
I never understood meekness until I have nothing because when you have nothing, you have nothing to be arrogant of.
I never knew how to trust in God for anything until I have nothing because when I have nothing, I experience daily miracles of God’s provision and providence.
I could never fathom God’s amazing agape love until I have nothing because His daily miracles display His great love for me.
It is when I have nothing; I witness and sample the riches and richness of God. The riches that are of this world have blinded me of God’s awesome goodness. How could I ever thank my merciful Almighty God for what he has shown me through my days of emptiness? Each day of those days of emptiness were filled with days of priceless moments, experiencing the fullness of God’s goodness.
Lord, don't let me look at worthless things. Help me live your way. Psalm 119:37
Nullity is terrifying, scary and distressing; it sure is because it’s a deception planted in us by the evil one. When we place our trust in our Creator, Father who alone loves us then his peace will console us. God uses the story of the Israelites leaving Egypt in the Book of Exodus to demonstrate to us about severing relationships and dependence of the world to teach us to trust in him alone. It is only when I have nothing; when God empty my earthly life of my dependence of the world that He taught me to learn to trust Him for everything.
Ruminate the entire earthly life of God’s only begotten son, our Saviour Jesus who lived his earthly life totally dependant of the power of the Holy Spirit. Our Lord possesses nothing yet He gave us God’s richest gift to us- God’s unfailing love in our Saviour Jesus! Consider Jesus who has nothing feeding 5,000 mouths, healing the sick, teaches and preaches God’s law without asking for a fee and finally dying for us at the cross to reconcile us to our heavenly Father by paying our price of salvation with his blood. These are priceless moments!
Consider what Paul says in 2 Corinthians 6:10, We are sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; we are poor, yet making many rich; we have nothing, and yet possessing everything.
It’s impossible to comprehend the abundance of God’s richest; not until you live through emptiness. It’s beyond the wisdom of men to comprehend the foolishness of God that when you have nothing, you have everything!

SHUT UP AND LISTEN!
As human as you are, I, too, have my fair share of earthly life problems. I was repeatedly reminded that when I am confronted with problems, I should pray- and I did just that, which was only half right.
I spent about thirty minutes each morning performing this ritual of praying and I am convinced my Saviour Jesus is always present to hear me. Honestly, most of my prayers never received any answers. A whole lot of questions started heaping in my mind- Could it be that my Saviour is not responding because my Saviour Jesus never listen to what I told him. Maybe I was boring Him with my constant complain and unchanging request of the various blessings and my Lord dozed off? I scrutinized through a lot more questions and ended up dazed by it all without the slightest hint that the problem lies in me-each time after delivering my prayers, I never stay back to listen to Him instruct me!
My earthly life was chaotic and I seriously needed my Lord Saviour Jesus to instruct me.
“Lord Jesus! Please tell me how to live my life approved of you to honor you,” I pleaded as I felt my earthly life exposed and vulnerable without Christ’s protection.
Imagine my disbelief and shock when I heard my Saviour’s soft still voice booming in my ears, “I was always patient listening to you when you pour out your distress and misfortune to me each morning. It’s not true that your prayers were not answered. Each morning after listening to you, I am always ready to instruct you with my teachings to help you overcome your earthly life dilemma. But before I could open my mouth to speak to you, to instruct and teach you, you left. That’s why you were suspicious whether I responded even though you were convinced I heard you. I want you to remember my son- you, too, must sit patiently to listen to me after you have finished your part of talking. I am always ready with answers for you, but you must learn to sit patiently and listen. And it’s very rude to leave abruptly like you always did!”
I realized that my skepticism whether Jesus answers my prayers were not true. The problem with my problem is I prayed for hours but never stayed even a second to listen to my Lord’s answers.
Understand this story in Luke 10:38-42, As Jesus and the disciples continued on their journey to Jerusalem, they came to a certain village where a woman named Martha welcomed them into her home. Her sister, Mary, sat at the Lord's feet, listening to what he taught. But Martha was distracted by the big dinner she was preparing. She came to Jesus and said, 'Lord, doesn't it seem unfair to you that my sister just sits here while I do all the work? Tell her to come to help me." But the Lord replied her, "My dear Martha, you are worried and upset over all these details! There is only one thing worth being concerned about. Mary has discovered it, and it will not be taken away from her."
Nowadays, I pray for ten minutes but stay back thirty minutes to listen to my Lord’s instructions. Since then, my earthly life has escalated from earthly to almost heavenly!
Perhaps that's why we were created with a mouth and two ears and not vice versa!
Thank you, my Saviour Jesus who alone loves me.

DON'T PLAY GOD!
Human beings possess no expertise in sharing any ideas, plans or opinions, no matter how convincing it may be. We can be wrong when God decides otherwise in what we opinionated about our judgement in anything. Afterall we are but only dust.
We are praised when things turns out right or be accused when it goes sour. The Almighty God, the Creator of heaven and earth and everything in it, who see the end from the beginning, have the final influence in everything. The Almighty God alone adjudicates everything that revolves around us. He is the Judge!
Therefore be forewarned! Hold your tongue and be careful with your words! You are accountable to what you communicated!
A person can make plans about the things that he wants to do. But it is the Lord who decides what will happen. Proverbs 16:9
People get a lot of ideas, but only the Lord's plan will happen. Proverbs 19:21
There is no person who is wise enough to make a plan that can succeed if the Lord is against it. Proverbs 21:30
Don't play God, you could be the Devil!

Crazy Little Thing Called Love
People do the craziest thing when they are in love. There is no act that is considered as stupid, asinine, foolish, senseless, absurd, silly or idiotic when displaying your love. As we celebrate Valentines Day, I am reminded of God’s love at the cross. I thank God in Christ Jesus today for what He did because at a time when I am an enemy of Jesus Christ, He came to die for me. It was surely the craziest idea! But then, God was crazy in love with me.
Thank you heavenly Father who is in Jesus Christ my Saviour! Your unconditional love overwhelms me. Your display of mercy and grace in your unfailing love at the cross never abandon nor leave me even when I was hurting you at the cross. You were faithful in your promise that by your love for me, you pray each day that I will repent from my wrongdoings, even when you were held up at the cross by the nails I drove into you. Thank you my Lord Saviour God Jesus!
God showed how much he loved us by sending his only begotten son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him. This is real love-not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his son, Jesus Christ, our Saviour as a sacrifice to take away our sins. Dear friends, since God loved us that much, we surely ought to love each other. No one has ever seen God. But if we love each other, God lives in us, and his love is brought to full expression in us. 1 John 4:9-12

ELUSIVE YET READILY AVAILABLE
All of us, at an interval of our life, long for love and ache to be loved but sadly and tragically most of us never get to experience true unconditional love.
For many, in our endless pursue for love, we encounter lust, a deceptive form of love instead. Lust is the exact contrast of love, not hate!
Where then can we find this elusive agape love?
Agape love can only be found at the cross where Jesus Christ, the son of the living God died 2000 years ago.
It was at the cross that the Almighty God, Creator displayed His love for us when we were still His enemies. It was at the cross that through His only begotten son, Jesus, God display His mercy, grace in His unfailing love for us to redeem us from destruction. It was at the cross, the Almighty God displayed to us what is love.
We love because God first loved us in his son, Jesus. 1 John 4:19
None of us will ever comprehend what is love, not until and unless we first tasted God's amazing love for us at the cross in his son, Jesus!
His love is so wonderful and amazing that it cannot be expressed in the best choices of words nor explained through the minds of man's greatest wisdom.
You have to experience God's amazing love from the son, the Saviour Jesus at the cross.
Honestly, don't take my word for it, rather believe in what God promised to those who desire and pursue for his love.
After all, without love, a person is insipid.
Make a right choice and choose with the gifted wisdom from God which is love and not lust; lust is evil and temporal while love is virtuous and eternal.

Lessons From A Vagrant
For reasons beyond my comprehension, I always wonder why it is human nature to endlessly pursue power and money. Perhaps with both, people can look up to us or maybe to some, it helps boost confidence or worse still, we could employ authority to our advantage.
What about the less fortunate, those who are homeless on the streets? What are their ambitions?
Through a lesson I believe God in Christ Jesus wanted me to experience to teach me, the lesson transform my entire perspective about being arrogant with intelligence, riches and power with authority.
I was waiting for my mum doing her shopping at the local marketplace.
Right from across the street was what society would label a beggar. I designate them as the less fortunate.
I am habitually generous towards such needy people. But today I don't feel generous and just don't want to be bothered. Perhaps it could be due to having to walk across the busy street, constantly with various vehicles streaming past.
"I hope he isn't hungry, not very hungry, hopefully" I prayed.
Then suddenly, guilt, like a sudden heavy downpour started flooding my conscience over my selfish reaction. "After all, it's not really that troublesome crossing the street" as I tried communicating with my inner being to console my guilt.
To fix my weakness, I quickly summoned for help- beseeching my Saviour Jesus to sent His Spirit, the Holy Spirit to strengthen my weaken and poor spirit to minister to this less fortunate brother.
Keeping the less fortunate brother in focus, I walked across the street, continually praying, asking my Saviour Jesus to partner me in this deed.
"Do you need any help?" I asked not realizing what a silly question that was.
When he answered me, I was convinced that was undeniable the words of my Saviour Jesus.
Today, foolishness humbled me. Today, an insignificant person the society at large regarded as nothing humiliated me. Today, my Saviour Jesus elucidate to me the truthful meaning behind the verses in 1 Corinthians 1: 27-28, Instead, God chose things the world considers foolish in order to shame those who think they are wise. And He chose things that are powerless to shame those who are powerful. God chose things despised by the world, things counted as nothing at all, and used them to bring to nothing what the world considers important.
His answer was simple and unpretentious.
He responded with this answer, "I do need help but don't we all need help of some sort?"
At that moment, I hope the road would just opened up a big hole and gulped my pride and arrogance down, including my prideful wisdom.
Don't we all needed some form of help always? Have we forgotten that we were, but dust? The Almighty Creator remembers that we are dust in Psalms 103:14, For he understands how weak we are; he knows we are only dust. Every breath we take, we live by His abundance mercy and grace in His unfailing love.
God's still small voice boom loudly, shattering the pride in me. God demonstarted to me that His foolishness is greater than my wisdom.
For apart from Jesus, I can do nothing on my own.
I needed help. Maybe not for food or a roof over my head, but I needed help.
I dug into my pocket, pulled out a wad of notes in various denominations and gently shove the bundle into his hands, with his message of humility incessantly slamming hard into my arrogant wisdom trying to dislodge them from my brain and out my skull, squeezing through the passage way of my nose or ears.
It was as though Jesus my Saviour is nailing His message through this vagrant unto my heart, reminding me that it was His perfect grace sustaining my imperfect weakness all this time.
This lesson taught me that without God in his son, my Saviour Jesus, I am but only a sinner, created out of dust, made perfect and worthy by His blood in His unfailing love at the cross.
No matter who you are, a wealthy or a poor man, you can do the will of God, to feed, to loan, to assist in every way, because you have experienced God's mercy and grace in his unfailing love through his son, our Saviour Jesus at the cross. It is His love at the cross that filled our hearts to grow in us a passion to minister to the less fortunate.
Even if it's just a simple greeting or a compliment, you can give that.
You never know when you may see someone who appears to have it all. They are waiting on you to give them what they don't have. A different perspective on life, a glimpse at something beautiful, a respite from daily chaos, that only you through a torn broken world can see.
That person could be just a vagrant wandering the streets. Allow me to warn you, don't judge a person by their appearance, because it could be Jesus our Lord and Saviour at work.
Remember this, whoever we think we are, we fail when we chose to live apart from Jesus Christ, who alone loves us.
When we are undeserving, on our way to eternal doom, God in Christ Jesus came to save us at the cross because God, the Father, Saviour and Creator remembered that we are dust!
