Lord Jesus, Please Take A Number

Jesus Christ is number one on most of our lips; Well, is He the number one in your heart?

Anthony shared with me that he kept a Bible in his toilet and will read a few chapters every time when he's in there.

Kelvin relate to me that he usually catch up reading the Bible while waiting in a traffic jam or while waiting for the traffic lights change.

Gabriel recounted how he habitually pray in his car because it's the only time he has time.

Julienne described her prayers were mostly done while lying in her bed. And she believed she has not breached any axiom.

Our heavenly Father owned our time; every second of it and the most ideal moment we could spend in fellowship with Him is when we are in the toilet? I wondered whether you will engaged in a conversation with your friends, loved ones when you are in the toilet doing your business? Are those your finest moments and only available time to spend in fellowship with your heavenly Father?

Our heavenly Father is definitely not your time filler. You don't squeeze Him in between your busy schedules. He is the pre-eminence of our life.

Do you entertain friends and visitors to your home, engaging them in conversation while you lie in bed? It's understandable if you are sick or ailing. Jesus is the Almighty God! What happened to kneeling before His Majesty?

The moment we opened our eyes upon waking up in the morning, we should honor and glorify Him by giving praise and thanks to God, the Almighty Father, Father of our Saviour Jesus. The initial stretch of our time upon waking up should be spend in fellowship worshipping our Creator. Every of our first fruits belong to Him.

If we had honor our heavenly Saviour with our time gifted to us each new day, then I believe our heavenly Father wouldn't mind when we fill Him in any time of the day.

Our Lord is without doubt number one on our lips when we are in Church, and in the midst of the various 'Christians' fellowship but does He command identical status beyond the limelight?

We sighed in disappointment when our prayers are not answered or when its taking too long. Perhaps its time to examine the way we offered our prayers, questioning whether its executed in an honorable manner.

Are we placing our Saviour above all our irrelevant worldly priorities or is He simply a part of our worldly priority or could He be just a 911 number during our emergency?

Does our Saviour who went to the cross for us need to take a number before we can squeeze Him into our busy schedules?

I believed in my heart that you and I are number one in His heart.

Each time when I fix my gaze at the Cross; Behold! I am number one in His heart.

Is Jesus the Christ number one in your heart?
